With only just over two weeks to go before WhaleFest, the first and largest event of its kind hits Brighton, the excitement and anticipation of getting up close and personal to the largest animal on earth is starting to show.  With Stephen Fry, who narrated BBC 1’s Ocean Giants earlier this year, tweeting about it – it’s already a hit.  Ocean Giants’ series producer Mark Brownlow will be there along with other wildlife celebrities; BBC’s Mark Carwardine, broadcaster and author Philip Hoare, author and founder of International Dolphin Watch, Dr Horace Dobbs, Dr Jason Cressey author and founder of the POD – People, Oceans, Dolphins. Well known zoologists, biologists and other wildlife specialist will also be at this amazing event.

 

The event, which kicks off with a VIP launch evening at the Hilton Brighton Metropole, will take place at The Hove Centre in Hove near Brighton.  The two day festival features a large marine world exhibition, educational workshops, fun-packed activities and of course lots of presentations from the celebs. Visitors may also buy tickets to include the Celebrity fun evening on the Saturday which will see four wildlife celebrities battle it out to win the trophy and raise funds for their charity.
